Chris Burrell is the electronic music director at WKDU Philadelphia 91.7 FM and electronic buyer at Brewerytown Beats record shop. Since 2011, Chris' weekly radio show Hot Mix has hosted artists like DJ Delish, Moor Mother, DJ Haram, among others. 

Chris and the WKDU team partnered with queer institution Philly AIDS Thrift to launch a quarterly fundraiser, the Thrifty Disco, which has raised over $10,000 to support various Philly Queer non-profits.

For Cookie Series #34, Chris curated a mix fully compromising of tracks from Black artists on Bandcamp — encompassing club, techno, electro, and house sounders.
