Born in San Francisco and raised in New York, DJ Dominique's musical journey was initially inspired by the deep bass of hood rap and the powerful vibes of Trap music at a San Francisco party. Her musical exploration deepened amidst NYC's dynamic queer nightlife, where she discovered electronic dance music, house, and techno at iconic venues like Ghetto Gothic and Holy Mountain. Dominique learned DJing from a friend and began her career at Happyfun Hideaway, swiftly transitioning from an open-format style to specializing in Deep House and Techno.

Dominique has made a name for herself by performing at renowned venues and parties such as the Ace Hotel and The Carry Nation. She aims to enrich the deep house scene by producing tracks that are infused with 'main character' energy and the textured beats she adores. For DJ Dominique, dance music and the community it fosters embody every facet of her identity: the rebel, the dreamer, and the artist.
