Vorp is a Chicago-based artist, DJ, resident, and the founder of
Dark Heaven, an event company curating immersive and thematic events. At a young age, Vorp immigrated from Minsk to Louisville, KY, where his musical upbringing was rooted in classical piano and post-hardcore bands.
Vorp is not bound to any specific genre, finding catharsis in blending
raw techno,
acid electro,
bass breaks––all with left-field underlying nuances. Chicago's underground electronic scene and queer community have relentlessly influenced him after a decade of calling the city his home. Anticipating the launch of
Dark Heaven's record label with a VA compilation and the debut of an EP in 2023, he aims to promote underground artists while fostering a signature sound.
