Originating from Brooklyn, New York, Dane’s journey in music began as a trained dancer and singer, embedding a natural rhythm in his life. Inspired by one of his favorite songs, he adopted the moniker B. GODSun, standing for Black Gold Of Da Sun.

His DJ career kicked off at Lizdas in Kaunas, Lithuania, and soon led him to Berlin’s Renate. B. GODSun swiftly became one of Lithuania’s most beloved and charismatic DJs. His talents extended to hosting various clubs and festivals across Lithuania and securing a long-standing residency at Radio Vilnius.

Now making waves in New York City's nightlife, B. GODSun’s sets are a must-experience. Expect a seamless blend of soulful House and the dynamic beats of the Ballroom scene. True to his Brooklyn roots, B. GODSun spreads love, joy, and a sense of escape through his music, creating an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

For Cookie Mix #081, B. GODSun drew inspiration from Juneteenth, translating the essence of Blackness into a sonic narrative. His beats resonate with all the beautiful Black people in House music and nightlife who inspire him every day.
